CONTROL POWER SYSTEM (CPS) OPTION GUIDE
The letters below are used to build product codes by adding them as suffixes to base model 'CPS'.
This option is for boosting the Tower Lights controller's output. This is done so that a smaller gauge wire can be used. This reduces the weight load of copper going up the tower.
You need to add the "D" option if your tower has a white lighting system. A Tower Lights controller with this option has the capability to turn the white lighting system on during the day when the red lighting shuts off.
If your tower lighting controller has to be outside put a "E" in the part number. Our external Tower Lights controllers are built in NEMA 3R rated enclosures to prevent damage from an outdoor environment.
Most foreign power hook-ups supply 220/230 volts at 50 hertz. If your controller requires this, add the "F" option in the part number.
Some tower sites only have 3 phase power source available. Our Tower Lights controllers can be connected to 3 phase power with the "T" option.
Flashing beacons on a tower can be hard on power generators because of constant power surging. The beacon's power load can be balanced out with the "LR" option preventing shutdown.
